Thai Binh Newspaper released on 29th November 2015 No. 413 posted that Ba Ria - Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company (BUSADCO) detecting their product "BUSADCO channel/ditch" to be counterfeited and installed at the communes of Phuong Cong, Dong Hoang and Nam Thinh (Tien Hai district).

The above mentioned products are constructed by Thong Anh Construction Company which has head office in hamlet 10, Phuong Cong Commune, Tien Hai district lead by Mr. Tran Xuan Thong. According to Busadco, this is Thong Anh Construction Company’s acts of law violation because this is infringement of BUSADCO’s intellectual property rights

Recently, the relevant authorities of Tien Hai district including: the Department of Industry and Trade, district police, market management forces and Commune People's Committee of Phuong Cong had a meeting with Mr. Tran Xuan Thong.
According to his presentation, Thong Anh Construction Company only produced according to the orders of Phuong Cong, Dong Hoang, Nam Thinh communes. The products are manufactured at the communes ordered the products under the supervision and quality control of local authorities. According to the checking results of the relevant authorities, Thong Anh Construction Company has no warehouse, no production line, there is only some formwork made by hands. The product of Thong Anh Construction Company has typical design required by the investor; structure is made of precast concrete; U shape; length L = 2m; height H = 0.9 m; thickness of groove bottom D = 10 cm; thickness of wall T = 4.5 - 5cm. In comparison with BUSADCO product, the product of Thong Anh Company is different in height, smoothness, hook placement and company logo. However, basically, the shape and dimension of Thong Anh Construction Company’s product like the product of "precast reinforced concrete channel/Ditch with thin walls” of BUSADCO.
