As reported from Ba Ria- Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company (BUSADCO), after winning the gold prize of Vifotec 2011, the product of BUSADCO - precast reinforced concrete manholes with thin walls in conjunction with joints was selected to attend the 23rd international exhibition of invention, innovation and technology in 2012 in Malaysia and won the gold prize. This is the works of Labor Hero - General Director, Mr. Hoang Duc Thao and his colleagues.
The precast reinforced concrete manholes with thin walls in conjunction with joints will be used to contribute to resolve the problem of "death pit" is happening more and more in urban areas caused by subsidence cracking , broken sewer joint and manholes; the soil washed down into the sewer making road subsidence.
The product is anti-corrosion, anti-erosion; it is convenient for construction - installation - operation - maintenance, easy to use, suitable for all terrain, geology. The product is used in drainage system (water rain and waste water). This solution brings high economic efficiency due to low cost, using available and common materials, it helps to save material, reduce investment cost, be easy to construct and install.
Currently, the product is issuing the Patent for Invention and Utility Solution by the National Office of Intellectual Property of Viet Nam - Ministry of Science and Technology
