The PPC had issued the Decision on approving the scheme of environmental pollution treatment at Cua Lap area (Vung Tau City).

Cua Lap area is a point directly receives wastewater from the sources: wastewater from the production and trading facilities of ward 12 (Vung Tau City) and the areas of An Ngai, Phuoc Hung and Phuoc Tinh communes (Long Dien district); domestic wastewater and sewage from the operation of the fishing ports. In addition to receiving these effluents directly from above mentioned sources, Cua Lap area is a place indirect effected from the wastewater of some production and trading facilities in Ba Ria City, which are mainly from the operation of Long Kien noodle production village...

According to the "scheme of environmental pollution treatment at Cua Lap area " has just been approved by the provincial People's Committee, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment shall coordinate with the departments, relevant local to focus on implementing measures to prevent, handle and overcome the sources of pollution discharged directly into Cua Lap area. For solutions treating the discharge sources which affect Cua Lap area, the PPC directing Ba Ria- Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company to deploy: “Ba Ria wastewater collection and treatment project "in the fourth quarter of 2015, with a treatment capacity 12.000m³/day and directing the PC of Baria City to deploy the measures to handle the pollution of Long Kien noodle production village under the content "Environmental protection plan of trade village" in the province until 2020 and orientation towards 2030 which was promulgated at the Decision No. 2580/QD-UBND dated 7^th November 2013.
