Starting from this release press, Thai Binh Newspaper publishes an article "barefoot Doctor" of Tran Nam author (Radio and Television Station of Thai Binh) writing about Mr. Hoang Duc Thao, General Director cum Chairman of Ba Ria – Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development One Member Limited Company. For over 10 years, with the useful solutions, Dr. Hoang Duc Thao and Busadco’s team of engineers, technical workers have researched, manufactured successfully the reinforced concrete technical trenches with thin walls, only from 25 - 70 mm, minimizing volume and weight compared with normal precast reinforced concrete, while saving costs, fast construction with high durability. This initiative has brought to market a specialized product for the urban technical infrastructure system and rural areas complying with Vietnamese conditions. People in the industry often call "technical trenches".
To create the special product “technical trenches”, Mr. Thao and his colleagues in Busadco have done a thorough reseach and finally found the secret: Using sulphate reristance cement; high strength cold drawn steel reinforcement, including a net of cold drawn steel rods; natural stone with the size from 5 - 10 mm; using the vibration technology while pouring concrete material into forming moud. Vibration equipment fluctuates horizontally and vertically, it helps to push all bubbles out of the concrete in order to ensure the density of concrete with smooth inner and outer surface. The products that were produced by this vibration line are ensured the required bearing structure. The life of product is corresponding to the life of the project. In addition, a special additive is used in new material technology that allows increasing the connectivity of the concrete as well as the adhesive strength, shortening the time for removing the formwork without affecting the concrete quality. This is also the advantage of BUSADCO’s technology of precast concrete with thin walls.
Discussing with us, Mr. Le Van Hien, Director of the Department of Science and Technology in Thai Binh Province assesses: " The scientific and technological products of Busadco have three outstanding features, they are: saving material, saving the cost of production and installation, ensuring strictly technical requirements and being easy in installing and moving."
Not only satisfy the requirement of stormwater drainage, "technical trenches" also prevent odor comes from inside the sewer to the environment, contribute to the beauty of the urban aesthetic. “Good wine needs no bush”. The joint venture Vietsovpetro, Environmental Sanitation Project for Central Coastal Cities, Khanh Hoa Water Suppy and Drainage Joint Stock Compnay, urban areas in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City ... have ordered and applied Busadco new technology in constructing the technical infrastructure.
Busadco concrete with thin walls is the technological product awarded Vietnam Scientific and Technological Creativeness Prize in 2009 and was issued the appropriate technological solution for “Technological line of manufacturing pre-cast reinforced concrete products with thin walls for technical infrastructure and environmental protection”, it is allowed to transfer and widely applied in the whole country. These products are very convenient in installing because they are prefabricated in the plant, then they are delivered to the site for installation, they are suitable in case of replacing the existing system. The products are using the available material in the country, therefore, it is in active for buying material, saves the costs of investment, material and human resources. It is simpler for constructing, installing, maintaining and operating than using conventional reinforced concrete.
Even where to start his career, how successful he is, Mr. Thao still keeps the manner of Thai Binh genuine farmer. He always proud of being born and grown up in a commune with hero tradition like Vu Thang. The native land is poor but having strong will. Those characteristics are ingrained in his blood then after Mr. Hoang Duc Thao left his father land, he always tried to overcome the difficulties. From the motto: CREATIVITY - BREAKTHROUGH – DEVELOPMENT, he and his colleagues have done the extraordinary things. When meeting and talking to Mr. Hoang Duc Thao, our first feeling is he can work wherever, whenever that is possible. When the night comes, in a small room, he patiently works alone. The design drawings, the calculated datas in detailed till every millimeter are the resonance of each individual who created. He cherishes, respects every smallest idea of the workers working directly on site. Only with the purpose: Non-stop innovating, always create so that each Busadco product are bearing the hallmark of Vietnamese people, Vietnam goods. In other words, it is the culture of an organization, a businessman. All of it is for the national pride, and also is the anxiousness of him and his colleagues as for a long time we have depended on the foreign technologies, have spent a lot of money for importing while the country is still poor, but still silently suffer the consequences of foreign technology which is not suitable to Vietnamese conditions. Local enterprises lose painfully on their homeland. Growing up from the difficult time, based on the ability, intelligence of himself and his colleagues, Mr. Hoang Duc Thao not only helps Busadco developing firmly in the market but also becomes the nucleus of the inventions, scientific creativities.
Each success of Busadco through every useful product for the community has a particular hallmark, they are not only the local pride of the place where Mr. Thao sets up himself in business but also the pride of the whole country. Mr. Nguyen Van Trinh, the former Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province comments: "Busadco is the first enterprise of Vietnam which has the projects that created and applied science - technology into the reality by their own.
