On 21^st September 2013, in HCM City, in the framework of the 26th of meeting program the record holders organized by Viet Nam record organization with the presence of more than 500 record holders in the whole country, this is the first time 6 record holders of Viet Nam have the honor to be awarded the honorary Doctorate degrees by Mr. Thomas Bains - Headmaster of the World Record University (Headquarter is located in UK), including Mr. Hoang Duc Thao - Labor Hero, Chairman cum General Director of BUSADCO. This is the respect of the World Record University for the efforts and achievements of people around the world on science, economy and society.

Mr. Hoang Duc Thao - Labor Hero, the Chairman cum General Director of BUSADCO is incumbent record holder of “the first Vietnamese won the most prizes of international scientific and technological creation organization”. Namely, from 2004 to 2012, he has been the author of 23 scientific and technological works in the fields of infrastructure of urban and rural areas and environmental protection; He has owned 18 patents and useful solutions; he has won 17 national and international scientific prizes including: 6 national prizes (Vifotec) and 11 international prizes (4 Techmart Asean gold prizes + 3 in 2009; 1 special prize, 2 gold prizes, 1 silver prize of scientific and technological creation organization (SIIF) in 2008 and 2009 in Korea; 2 gold prizes of scientific and technological creation organization (ITEX) in 2010 and 2012 in Malaysia; 1 prize of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) for the best scientific and technology creation works in 2009 in Viet Nam. The scientific and technological products created by him has been manufacturing at 5 plants in Ha noi, Thai Binh, Nghe An, Khanh Hoa, Ba Ria – Vung Tau and applying effectively in 48/63cities and provinces in Viet Nam; BUSADCO products have been initially exported to Malaysia, Laos. There has been 14 People’s Committee of cities and provinces issued the guidelines to for applying BUSADCO products in their areas

Under the leadership of Mr. Hoang Duc Thao, BUSADCO won a lot of great prizes during researching and applying the science into environmental protection such as: The Best in class Award – Global Performance Excellence Award (GPEA) awarded by the Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO); Viet Nam Environment Award in 2010; National Quality Award in 2011. BUSADCO was evaluated as being one of the 500 most growth enterprises in Vietnam in three consecutive years. BUSADCO was elected as being one of 10 most outstanding scientific and technological events by Vietnam Journalists Association in 2012. Up to now, BUSADCO has had 17 patents and useful solutions issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology; 5 Certificates of appropriate technology issued by the Ministry of Construction allowing to apply in the whole country and export; 18 Certificates of qualified products issued by the Quality Insurance and Testing Center. BUSADCO is the incumbent record holder of Vietnam as being “Vietnamese scientific and technological business won the most national and international prizes of scientific and technological creation organizations".

Vietnam now has more than 1,300 record makers, in which, there are about 400 record makers having high content value of records. In the early of June 2013, Vietnam Record Organization selected 12 records with high content value from 12 Vietnamese record makers in order to nominate to World Record University. 6 records were recognized and issued the honorary Doctorate degree by Science Council of World Record University. The Labor Hero Hoang Duc Thao was honored to be awarded this honorary Doctorate degree.
