In the evening of 24^th April, at Hanoi Opera House, the summing-up and awarding Ceremony for Vietnam scientific and technological innovation prize, WIPO prize and Vietnam Intellectual Gold Cup Prize in 2013 were taken place.

The President has just issued the Decision No. 2365/QD-CTN dated 13^th December 2013 on awarding the title of Labor Hero to Ba Ria- Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company (BUSADCO) for “having particularly outstanding achievements in labor, creativity, contributing to the cause of building socialism and the national defense".

In the past time in Ha Noi, Club of Scientific and technological Journalists of Viet Nam -Journalist Association of Viet Nam organized a ceremony to announce 10 outstanding scientific and technological events in 2012. These 10 events are evaluated by nearly 50 journalists specializing in the field of Science and Technology according to 5 fields, including: Policy mechanism; social science, humanity and natural sciences; science and technology; honoring scientists and international cooperation.

On 31^st October, a workshop “Strengthening the competence of water supply and drainage sector in Vietnam” was taken place in Vung Tau City. The workshop was organized by German Water Partnership, Ministry of Environment and Public Health of Bavaria (Federal Republic of Germany) in collaboration with Ba Ria - Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company (Busadco). Mr. Tran Minh Sanh, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee attended the seminar.

In the afternoon of 1^st October 2012, at Hanoi Horison Hotel, Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA) and German Water Partnership (GWP) together with German Agency for International Cooperation, SEDD, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company, Vietnam Water and Environment Investment Corporation – JSC held a Seminar: "Establishment of a Vietnamese Water Competence Development Centre"
