On 30^th September, the Ministry of Construction issued a Certificate of Appropriate Technology for “The technological line of manufacturing precast reinforced concrete products with thin walls applied for technical infrastructure and environmental protection”. Ba Ria – Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development One Member Limited Company (BUSADCO) is the owner of this technology. Also at the Decision issuing Certificate of Appropriate Technology for this technology, the Ministry of Construction allows BUSADCO to transfer and apply this technological line all over the country.

Reportedly, the technological line of manufacturing precast reinforced concrete products with thin walls applied for technical infrastructure and environmental protection were researched and completed based on the practical production of the company. The products of the production process have satisfied the quality requirements according to technical standards and they were appropriate for demands of construction or renovation of the technical infrastructure and the environment of urban areas.

Previously, the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam issued the Patents for Invention and Useful Solution for 14 products manufactured from this technological line. The technological line also won the first prize of Scientific and Technological Creativeness of Vietnam (VIFOTEC) in 2009, WIPO prize – the prize of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Gold Prize of Scientific and International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX) in Malaysia in 2010. Currently, BUSADCO precast reinforced concrete products with thin walls have been widely applied in 30/63 cities and provinces in the country.
