On 21^st January, the Ministry of Construction conducted a conference of reviewing, evaluating the result of deploying the scientific and technological development strategy from 2013 to 2014, deploying the scientific and technological development strategy in 2015. At the conference, many construction enterprises were highly appreciated in researching and applying the science and technology into production.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Hoa – Chief of Science -Technology and Environment Department, the Ministry of Construction evaluated that there were many investments and innovation in the science, technology and construction; to master many technologies in designing, constructing skyscrapers, traffic, irrigation, marine and industrial works....

In last time, many construction enterprises have actively researched, applied the science and technology into production in order to improve the product quality, labor productivity as well as enhance the competitiveness capacity for the product...

Some enterprises which were highly appreciated by the Ministry of Construction in researching, applying the science and technology into manufacture including Song Da Corporation, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company (BUSADCO)... Song Da Corporation mastered the construction technology of hydroelectricity power and irrigation projects with large-scale, in which, the most remarkable was applying the construction technology of roller compacted in building the dam for the hydroelectricity plant whereas Busadco achieved the outstanding achievement for the product of sea embankment..

Talking about the sea embankment, Ms. Dao Thi Thu Thao – Director of Busadco Northern Branch said: "BUSADCO assembled embankment base for protection of shore and dyke (in Vietnam) is a preeminent scientific and technological product with much cheaper price in comparison with the traditional method, it saves the investment cost, controls the progress of manufacture, construction and quality of marine works, has obvious efficiency and can be applied on a large scale at the coastal areas in Vietnam. The technical solutions are guaranteed with the factors of anti-landslide, anti-erosion and anti-corrosion, high stability; it is suitable for the geological, topographical and meteorological conditions of Vietnam".

In the future, the enterprises in construction field will pay more attention in researching and applying the science and technology into production and doing business in order to successfully implement the tasks, goals of the development strategy for science, technology and construction till 2020, the vision for 2030 according to the decision which was promulgated by the Minister of Construction.
