On 1^st October, in Hanoi, Germany Water Partnership (GWP), Vietnam Water Supply & Sewerage Association (VWSA) and Ba Ria - Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company (BUSADCO) signed the trilateral cooperation agreement on establishment of Vietnamese Water Competence Development Center.

On 27^th September, in Vu Quy industrial zone, Kien Xuong district, Thai Binh province, BR-VT Urban Sewerage and Development Company (Busadco) held the inauguration ceremony for the first phase of the plant manufacturing precast reinforced concrete with thin walls applied for technical infrastructure and environmental protection in urban and rural areas (referred to as Busadco plant in Thai Binh Province).

Ba Ria – Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company (BUSADCO) – has just won the second prize (Best in Class Award) of Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO)

In the afternoon on 5^th January, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company (Busadco) held the Meeting of year-end summation conference of 2011 and the Ceremony of receiving the Labour Hero title for Mr. Hoang Duc Thao, the Chairman cum General Director of Busadco.

On 30^th September, the Ministry of Construction issued a Certificate of Appropriate Technology for “The technological line of manufacturing precast reinforced concrete products with thin walls applied for technical infrastructure and environmental protection”. Ba Ria – Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development One Member Limited Company (BUSADCO) is the owner of this technology. Also at the Decision issuing Certificate of Appropriate Technology for this technology, the Ministry of Construction allows BUSADCO to transfer and apply this technological line all over the country.
